Drug Rehabilitation Scheme CE
The Tiglin Drug Rehabilitation Project Day Service is a community-based initiative. It is specifically an addiction related service that is for the individual affected by their own substance misuse. The programme runs a Community Employment (CE) Drug Rehabilitation Scheme that is in-line with the Dept. of Social Protection guidelines. Our mission is to provide a place for positive change that creates the possibility to move forward in reaching ones potential. The object of the project is to ensure a continuum of care and support for people in their rehabilitation through:
Providing supportive, educational and a progressive programme
Providing a career path for the individual that has demonstrated a readiness to move into further training, education and employment

The Silver Lining Family Support Group
The Silver Lining Family Support Group has been established in Newtownmountkennedy to provide support to family members coping with substance use and addiction. The group meets every Tuesday at 11.30 a.m.(for about an hour) in the Parents Room, St. Josephs Boys School and is facilitated by a member of the National Family Support Group Network. Currently, they are accepting new members.
